Bio

Composer, arranger, and teacher, Flávio had his first contact with music listening to his father practice Bach, Mozart, Haydn, and other classical music composers.

At age 6 she had her first classical piano lessons and at age 19 she studied jazz and bossa nova with Professor Levy Miranda.

In 2009 he did his first work with recordings and arrangements in some studios in São Paulo.

That same year he set up his own studio for recording soundtracks, a job he continues to this day.

Passionate about samba-jazz trios, a style that combines two of Flávio's favorite musical genres, he brought together two great friends and musicians, Noa Stroeter on acoustic bass and Marcos Magaldi on drums, to form Trio Guará, which since 2016 has released 3 EPs of original music and has been performing in concert halls and musical events.

He also created Bossa a Dois, a voice and piano duo with singer Vanessa Mosseri, which has been performing at events since 2015.

He wrote arrangements for various recordings and shows, including string and wind quartets.

One of the standout projects is Acústico Mariana Rios, a trio formed by the singer and actress, with Flávio on piano and Bruno Serroni on cello.

He composed and recorded soundtracks for film, theater, and television, including the film " 30 Anos Blues," which won an award at the 47th Gramado Film Festival; " Solidão Que Nada ," a film by Gabriel Alvim that won an award at the Italian Nòt Film Fest and is available on Amazon Prime; " Eike Tudo Ou Nada ," produced by Mariza Leão and Tiago Rezende of Morena Filmes and distributed by Paris Filmes (Amazon Prime | Netflix); " Madame Durocher, " a feature film written and produced by Rita Buzzar and João Segall and directed by Andradina Azevedo and Dida Andrade, released in 2024 in cinemas throughout Brazil and available for streaming on HBO; and "Amor, Doce Confusão," a feature film written and directed by Toti Loureiro, released at the Rio Film Festival in 2025.
